ROADMAP FOR TUNNEL INSTALLATION

1. On delivery, provide sufficient material for loading and unloading the tunnels.

2. Upon delivery, check all tunnel elements and associated parts for damage and that the order was delivered complete according to the delivery documents.

3. Before placing the tunnels, remove all packaging materials and dispose of them with the appropriate type of waste.

4. For each tunnel there is a minimum depth that must be excavated so that the tunnels with required foundations fit completely into the excavated trench and that the prescribed layer of soil can be placed on top. Remove all debris from the trenches.

5. Lay geotextile in the construction pit well over the edge. Make sure that there is sufficient overlength (min. 600mm) so that after placing and backfilling with soil the geotextile can be laid over the infiltration bed to prevent the penetration of silt.

6. Over the entire bottom surface of the construction pit (on the geotextile), apply and compact a layer of stone foundation determined by the designer.

7. Apply over the entire soil surface a stone foundation of clean crushed angular rock with a grain size of 19 - 51 mm. Installation Pluvio infiltration tunnels

8. To prevent leaching of the rock, roll out an amount of geotextile across the rows, on the inlet side, lying for about 3.5 to 4 meters below the elements.

9. Put the first element in the right place. Take a second element and slide it under the first element, slightly lifting the last element at the end. Now place the third element, lifting the second element slightly. Continue in this way until the entire row is laid. Keep a distance of 300 mm between the element and the excavation and 150 mm between the elements themselves.

10. Attach the beginning and end caps. If necessary, they can be screwed to the tunnel element using self-tappers.

11. Connect the supply/drain pipe. (max connection 600 diameter)

12. Fill the space between the tunnel elements with loose gravel (19/51) or an equivalent other material up to the determined height (minimum 150 mm above the tunnel element). During backfilling, make sure that an almost equal amount of material is poured to the left and right of the elements. Through this gradual filling of the infiltration field, the elements are fixed in place. This fill material present between the elements does not need to be further compacted.

12. Fill the space between the tunnel elements with loose poured gravel (19/51) or an equivalent other material up to the determined height (minimum 150 mm above the tunnel element). During backfilling, care must be taken that an almost equal amount of material is poured to the left and right of the elements. Through this gradual filling of the infiltration field, the elements are fixed in place. This fill material present between the elements does not need to be further compacted.

13. Fold the geotextile over the fill material to close the infiltration field.

14. Finish the soil according to the intended use of the site.
